Logan Houshmand, Age 26, LeTourneau University Student, Motorcycle Fatality

A Longview, Texas veteran and aviation graduate died on Friday in a motorcycle accident. This tragic wreck occurred on Delwood Street. Houshmand graduated, 3rd in his class, at LeTourneau University in May. As a U.S. Marine, he served his country with honor in Iraq. Friends, family and fellow veterans have spoken highly of Logan Houshmand's integrity. After graduation, he was offered a job at his alma mater in the aviation center. He will be missed by many.

Stephen Wadsworth, Emily Word, Killed In San Angelo Car Crash

Richard Garcia III was arrested on Sunday in connection to a weekend wreck. Stephen Tyler Wadsworth, age 21, and Emily McKenna Word, age 22, both from San Angelo lost their lives in a collision allegedly caused by Richard Michael Garcia III. He has been charged with negligent homicide, DWI and reckless driving. This accident occurred in Tom Green County, Texas about 15-miles outside of San Angelo on Highway 67. Gary Dudley Lewis and Stacci Rai Norton suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Both Wadsworth and Word died at the scene. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Raphael Flajole, Age 62, Run Over & Killed By Truck In Galveston

A man from Lake Orion, Michigan by the name of Raphael Flajole lost his life on Sunday when the driver of a pickup truck slammed into him as he was walking down the street in Galveston, Texas. Another pedestrian, 48-year-old Shane Sabala, was also hit – but is expected to make a full recovery at a local hospital. 49-year-old Kevin Wade Wilson, the driver of the pickup truck was arrested and charged with manslaughter and aggravated assault. His bond was set at $750,000. It is not known, at this time, if Wilson was driving under the influence of alcohol or any other type of drug.

Willie Peters, Gray Ghost Motorcycle Club, Killed In Houston Crash

A man from Shreveport, Louisiana died in a motorcycle crash near Houston, Texas on Saturday. 39-year-old William 'Willie' Peters was riding his motorcycle with three other friends in a Texas construction zone when debris was flung onto the roadway toward where they were riding. This event cause a chain-reaction wrecking all four motorcycles. Peters' died as a result of his injuries. He was a member of the Caddo Parish branch of the 'Gray Ghost Motorcycle Club' in Shreveport. Some of the other riders were also injured, including one whose leg had to be amputated.
