Hero Texan Angela Radtke Saved Child

#TexasNewsBlog #TexasNews #TexasBlog

A San Antonio Texas man was taken into police custody on Saturday after he left a small child locked in a car – while he went shopping at an H.E.B. supermarket. Thankfully – the child did not suffer serious injuries – because a passerby saw what had happened and took matters into her own hands. After being unsuccessful in locating the parents of the child - Angela Radtke - used a crowbar to smash in the front windshield in order to gain access and freed the child. A short time later – the reported father of the child - 36-year-old Richard Elliot was located and after questioning by police he was arrested and charged with child endangerment. Considering the amount of stories in the news about the deaths of numerous children this summer - why does this keep happening? The government is already moving at a record pace to take away rights from parents and this type of stupidity will only make matters worse for law abiding Texans in the future who don't fit what the government considers to be a good parent. I remember someone telling me once that a person needed a license to be a doctor – lawyer or even a plumber – but any idiot can become a parent. While that statement is brutally blunt – it is most certainly the truth. All parents should know instinctively that closed cars can heat-up to deadly temperatures within a few short minutes. While this father deserves and will receive the benefit of the doubt when it comes to his day in court – common sense should suggest to anyone that a child should never be left alone in a car – whether it is hot that day or not. It is entirely likely that child is alive today - because of the fast - fearless and heroic actions of Angela Radtke from San Antonio. All Texans should be proud of what she did.
