Oil Lobby Controlling GOP Candidates?

2014 is an election year and like all the rest, big issues will face candidates who are seeking office in the State of Texas. What is turning out to be a big issue this election cycle is whether or not 'fracking' is causing dozens of small earthquakes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. As is usually the case, most people running for statewide office are quick to defend the big oil companies who make billions of dollars from bringing petroleum products to market from deep within the ground. To be honest, there is no proof to date that 'fracking' is causing all of these small earthquakes. However, it would be nice for once if politicians took the side of the people over big oil interests - until more is learn about this issue.
