Courtney Ray Sterling Killed Crash

15-year-old Courtney Ray Sterling died in the hospital Tuesday afternoon from injuries she suffer in a horrific wreck on Monday night in Lumberton, Texas. Her sister, Connely Rene Burns, died at the scene of the crash. Their mother, 46-year-old Dawn Sterling, was seriously injured and remains in the hospital. According to police, a Chevy Camaro hit the vehicle from behind, at a speed in excess of 100 MPH, that the older Sterling was driving. The wreck happened on HWY 69. Courtney Ray Sterling was a student at Lumberton High School. The condition of the driver of the Chevrolet Camaro, 40-year-old Crystal Lummus Boyett from Kirbyville, is not known at this time. There will be grief counselors available at the school this morning.
