First off, your information is incorrect. Ray' funeral is set for Dec 28 in Dallas. Saturday was a gathering of folks from Mount Pleasant as well as a smattering of dignitaries. It was a memorial service. The only real tribute to Ray was from his good friend Eddy Stubbs from WSM and The Marty Stewart show. He truthfully spoke truthfully and with great emotion. Nothing was set up or contrived. It was a message from his heart.
