Nurse Nina Pham's Ebola Timeline, Her Condition Continues To Improve

Update 10/15/2014 @ 04:00 AM CST: 2nd healthcare worker in Dallas tests positive for Ebola virus.

Update 10/15/2014 @ 01:00 AM CST: When Nina first became ill, the director of the CDC seemed to point the finger of blame at her for not obeying established Ebola protocol. However, it now appears it was NOT Nina's fault at all. But instead insufficient protective gear and poorly written protocol instructions from the CDC and the hospital itself that lead to her exposure.

Update 10/15/2014 @ 12:00 AM CST: According to Texas Health Resources, Nina's condition continues to improve. Her condition has been upgraded to 'GOOD'.

Update: 10/14/2014 @ 11:00 PM CST: Nina's father Tien Pham told CBS 11 in Dallas that his daughter is in high spirits. He said she is running a small fever, but has not experienced diarrhea or nausea at this time.

Update 10/14/2014 @ 02:25 PM CST: Doctor on CNN demonstrates how difficult it can be to remove protective clothing contaminated with Ebola virus.

Update 10/14/2014 @ 01:45 PM CST: Dallas mayor tells Fox News that Nina's little dog is being well cared for in isolation. At this point, the dog shows no sign of illness.

Update 10/14/2014 @ 12:00 PM CST: Nina Pham released the following statement "I'm doing well and want to thank everyone for their kind wishes and prayers. I am blessed by the support of family and friends and am blessed to be cared for by the best team of doctors and nurses in the world here at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas."

Update 10/13/2014 @ 10:00 PM CST: Pham is reportedly resting comfortably tonight in the same hospital where she was exposed to Ebola.

Update 10/13/2014 @ 08:30 PM CST: Nina has reported received a blood transfusion from Ebola survivor Dr. Kent Brantly.
